Biography:

Fred Trask was born in 1946 in Digby, Nova Scotia as the son of the local barber. He began painting in the early ‘70’ and almost always paints a story. Using acrylics on various surfaces, his paintings usually represent landscapes, animals or interior rooms often depicting a humorous aspect of family or social life. Fred's works are included in the collections of The Rossignol in Liverpool Nova Scotia, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in Halifax, and in private collections. His paintings with depictions of Maud and Everett Lewis in front of their house in Marshalltown, have become very popular in recent years.
